Last Sunday (9/23/07)I had 2 U2-services with the fantastic U2-coverband U2NL. The church was very enthousiastic, we are going to continue are cooperation, and will record a (downloadable) single next week. U2NL has a website in English. I thought you should know this. We will record the single in 3 languages.The first more than 1000, the second 700. You can read it here in English.

U2NL and Rev. Jan Andries have plans for the future!

We held U2 rock services that day, the first one in the morning in the St. Jan de Doper church Noord-Scharwoude and the second in the afternoon, in the Zilverstraat church in Franeker. The visitors, band and reverend  were very enthusiastic about this cooperation, and U2NL and Rev. de Boer have decided to continue this cooperation. The first part of this is a single which will be named “40 / CoeXisT”. The single will be downloadable from the net. Reverend and Band will record the single at the 6^th of October in Cologne.

The two services were a premiere in the Netherlands, altough vicar De Boer allready gave a few of these services, this was the first time the service was supported by a live band. While we played songs like "Beautiful Day", "Love and Peace or Else" and "Untill the End of the World" a lot of people passing by stood and watched trough the open church doors....click here for more information
